The spaces we create for our athletes don’t just impact their performance: they are representative of the franchise and community of fans that support the team. With a 185,000 square-foot facility, the Detroit Piston’s Henry Ford Health System Performance Center is now home to a state-of-the-art training facility with a comprehensive sports medicine, treatment and rehabilitation capabilities—all fully branded and designed with Piston pride in mind.

Between graphics, signage, lighting and branded legacy displays, the entire facility was developed to align with the Piston’s vision for the future of their team. Each space was specifically created to address athlete development in a branded and cohesive environment.

Said owner Tom Gores, “this is an important milestone, but our work in Detroit is only getting started. Our ambitions have always been bigger than just basketball. This is an investment in the future of our city.” This building will not only continue to support player development, growth and talent, but house youth basketball clinics for the city and provide space for community events.
