Schembechler Hall

As part of a $9M renovation, The University of Michigan transformed the Towsley Family Museum inside Schembechler Hall into a state-of-the art celebration of Wolverine Football.

Dimensional Innovations was responsible for crafting all of the museum’s interactive experiences. The content we created brought the story of the University’s football program story to life.  In keeping with the modern aesthetic of the renovations, the new hall and museum features four 46-inch interactive displays designed, programmed and built by Dimensional Innovations.

For this particular renovation, DI created content for “The Team Wall”, highlighting the 134 years of storied history, “The Big House”, providing a glimpse into the game day experience inside Michigan’s iconic stadium, “Bowls & Legends”, celebrating the football legends and history of success at Michigan, and ”Community”, getting an up-close look at the marching band and the tailgating experience on game day.

…the Hy-Vee Hot Zone is a memorable experience because of some of the elements that were implemented for the first time; such as the use of the fire in the stage and signage, the Airstream, and the heavy use of technology in the space.
