Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) wanted to visually showcase their brand story throughout their new corporate world headquarters located in Kansas City, Kansas. In partnership with the architects at HOK, Dimensional Innovations helped pay homage to a rich history of farming, while also sharing a vision for future growth. Partnering with the building architect, we designed and fabricated unique elements and signage within the visually stunning office, including a dramatic 29-foot-tall milk sculpture in the lobby that resembles milk being poured from the ceiling to the floor.

The space connects people to place through the use of familiar textures, relatable images, and everyday objects that resonate with both employees and visitors either through personal experience, emotion, or memory. The “legibility” of the office can be found in the ability to see and find others, understanding the layout of the space, and the degree to which workspaces and furnishings convey their intended use. Employees feel inspired and proud of their surrounding environment, and visitors are impressed by the overall space and surprised and delighted by the unexpected design moments.

Michele has strived to create remarkable brand, client and employee experiences for more than 25 years. As a client-focused leader, Michele ensures interaction with DI from the go-to-market approach through subsequent project engagement adds value and exceeds expectations. 

 

Michele’s unique ability to ask the right questions and collaborate cross-functionally ensures that all stakeholder needs are considered from the very start of a project.  She blends her business acumen as a Fortune 1000 leader with her background as an editorial writer and news reporter to deliver compelling and measurable outcomes.  Michele understands the power of storytelling and the impact it adds throughout an experience.  She also knows the importance of delivering ROI and she can be counted on to ensure client projects are set up for success, right from the start.

 

Michele has led business development, marketing and client success teams in the retail, technology and services sectors.  Prior to joining DI, she was the president of a customer experience (CX) measurement provider.  She is a founding member of the Kansas City Revenue Collective, and serves on the Marketing Board of Directors within the KU School of Business.
