At Science City

Winner of Burns & McDonnell’s “Battle of Brains” competition, the Unplugged exhibit at Science City was originally conceptualized by students from Olathe North High School to show visitors how energy powers the world.

Brought on as a design-assist and fabrication partner, Dimensional Innovations created environmental graphics, signage, physical interactives, digital kiosks and the interactive video wall to help showcase various aspects of energy in engaging and educational ways for all ages.

Custom-designed and programmed by Dimensional Innovations, the Imagine Energy Digital Wall is a giant, interactive touchscreen that offers a world of information about energy. Visitors can easily navigate tabs that offer information, images and video within a dynamic and vibrant framework.

Science City is located inside of Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri.

…the Hy-Vee Hot Zone is a memorable experience because of some of the elements that were implemented for the first time; such as the use of the fire in the stage and signage, the Airstream, and the heavy use of technology in the space.
