Unplugged At Science City
Science City is a place of wonder, where kids
and adults can find something new with each visit.
Winner of Burns & McDonnell’s “Battle of Brains” competition, the Unplugged exhibit at Science City was originally conceptualized by students from Olathe North High School to show visitors how energy powers the world. Brought on as a design-assist and fabrication partner, our team created environmental graphics, signage, physical interactives, digital kiosks and the interactive video wall to help showcase various aspects of energy in engaging and educational ways for all ages. Custom-designed and programmed, the Imagine Energy Digital Wall is a giant, interactive touchscreen that offers a world of information about energy. Visitors can easily navigate tabs that offer information, images and video within a dynamic and vibrant framework.
