Visit KC is a non-profit organization trying to

generate interest and awareness for Kansas City.

When Visit KC wanted to design a new space in the Kansas City Power & Light District, DI was thrilled to be a part of the team. The new space was designed by architect KEM STUDIO and the branding and environmental graphics were designed by Willoughby Design Group. DI collaborated with Shield Casework to design and build several pieces for the new visitor experience.

 

Visit KC has seen a significant jump in foot traffic from visitors between some of downtown’s biggest attractions. The new design and location has also elevated their presence in the community and increased interactions with key clients and partners.

Michele has strived to create remarkable brand, client and employee experiences for more than 25 years. As a client-focused leader, Michele ensures interaction with DI from the go-to-market approach through subsequent project engagement adds value and exceeds expectations. 

 

Michele’s unique ability to ask the right questions and collaborate cross-functionally ensures that all stakeholder needs are considered from the very start of a project.  She blends her business acumen as a Fortune 1000 leader with her background as an editorial writer and news reporter to deliver compelling and measurable outcomes.  Michele understands the power of storytelling and the impact it adds throughout an experience.  She also knows the importance of delivering ROI and she can be counted on to ensure client projects are set up for success, right from the start.

 

Michele has led business development, marketing and client success teams in the retail, technology and services sectors.  Prior to joining DI, she was the president of a customer experience (CX) measurement provider.  She is a founding member of the Kansas City Revenue Collective, and serves on the Marketing Board of Directors within the KU School of Business.
