LinkedIn Chicago Office
A place to create strong connections, build business
and grow a network of social users.
Each time LinkedIn, an international business- and employee-oriented social networking service, opens a new office location, they do more than just plaster their brand across the walls and call it done. LinkedIn makes it a priority to integrate the culture of the city into their new home, incorporating what makes the city great into the interior design. In their new Chicago office, icons and graphics recognizable as Chicago-related can be found throughout the building—wind patterns on meeting room walls for “The Windy City,” murals of the skyline and Navy Pier Ferris wheel, and a huge, dimensional Chicago sign with large-scale objects incorporated.
The new LinkedIn Chicago office showcases the LinkedIn brand with a fun Chicago twist. Gensler, a major design and architecture firm, brought DI to the project in a design-assist and fabrication role.
This personalized way of paying homage to the city attracts locals, employees, and visitors alike. Employees feel engaged with a sense of pride in the team and culture, which in-turn increases workplace satisfaction and productivity.
