A fresh look and feel
for a stellar home-field advantage.
The Columbus Crew is an MLS team based in Columbus, Ohio. Recently, new ownership took the helm and the organization underwent a drastic rebranding process while introducing a stunning new home stadium for the club and its fans. So when “The Crew” wanted cohesive signage and wayfinding elements that provided a stellar home-field advantage and represented the new look and feel of the squad, they turned to Dimensional Innovations to bring their vision to life.
Working alongside ownership, Legends, HNTB, Blur Workshop and Mathias Collective, we helped orchestrate a design master plan for the stadium. This helped lay the groundwork for a seamless and enjoyable fan experience within the stadium while also serving as a sponsorship opportunity reference point for national and local brands. We were also proud to design and fabricate the team’s Circle of Honor, an area of distinction reserved for those who have helped build and grow the organization since its inception.
The home opener in the new stadium, which took place on July 4, 2021, offered the first glimpse of the team’s new look and brand to fans across the country. We were proud to partner with the club to ensure this new chapter created the excitement and hype that it deserves, to which we chant, “For Columbus!”
