Identification signs allow visitors to find specific rooms in buildings. For example, when you are in a medical building, you might know that you need to head to Suite 110. Identification signs on the wall tell you which room is Suite 110 and which rooms are not the one you are looking for.
Directional wayfinding signs are designed to help visitors quickly glean where they need to go in your building or park. The goal is to prevent guests from getting lost, leading to an unnecessarily stressful situation. Properly designed wayfinding systems provide both visual and verbal clues about where to find what you are looking for in a complicated environment such as a hospital, airport, hotel, or store.
