Dan Walters, Men's Golf Associate Head Coach, Wake Forest University

Dimensional Innovations has been honored to work with Wake Forest University’s Athletic Department for several years. In 2013, our team of designers completed an in-depth experience audit that lead to the development of a master plan to update their athletic facilities over a multi-year process. It set the course for the next few decades and unifies their branding through wall graphics, signage, interiors and materials in each space.

Years of history showcased in the Haddock House heritage room

The images show recently completed facilities–The Haddock House, which is home to the men and women’s golf programs, the Baseball Player Development Center, which houses a locker room, training room, equipment room, kitchen and player’s lounge, and finally, the McCreary Field House, a new indoor football practice facility. Both spaces were designed and built to be consistent with the master plan, as well as to be attractive and impressive to recruits touring the facilities.

Testimonials

As a player, it makes you feel special when you're able to use the facility. When I go back, it makes me proud to be an alum. Hopefully, the coaching staffs will see the results of having the Haddock House.

Bill Haas, PGA Tour Golfer, Former Wake Forest All-American

The Haddock House is going to have a tremendous impact on our program — not just benefitting our staff and current players, but also showcasing the many accomplishments to recruits, along with exemplifying the University's commitment to the continued success of Wake Forest golf.

Professionally, Berst has been working in the sports facility industry for over 12 years and has been involved in over $2 billion worth of athletic facility projects.

Berst was born and raised in Kansas City and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas, as well as an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington. He’s steadfast in his belief that there is no such thing as a family vacation, unless a sporting event is involved.
