Solution: Dimensional Innovations designed and fabricated a 500‑pound guitar built from layered CNC‑milled MDF and steel, engineered to stand freely and house a fully custom interactive system. To make the oversized instrument playable, Dimensional Innovations transformed galvanized-wire strings into capacitive touch sensors powered by a Bare Conductive touch board, a Raspberry Pi, and custom Python scripts that triggered major- and minor-chord audio files. Arcade‑style buttons allowed guests to switch between Clean and Dirty modes, giving the guitar a tactile, analog feel that encouraged exploration. To deepen the connection to Boulevardia’s culture, Dimensional Innovations designers created nearly 100 custom vinyl stickers representing participating bands and breweries, turning the guitar into a living collage of the festival’s identity. The final installation blended engineering precision, creative storytelling, and tech‑forward interactivity into a single, unforgettable experience.

Impact:  The 12-foot playable guitar became Boulevardia’s most engaging attraction, drawing steady crowds and transforming a simple entry point into a high-energy, interactive experience.
