Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is an adrenaline-pumping entertainment destination with locations gearing up across the country. With electric go-kart racing, glow-in-the-dark laser tag, elevated dining, drinks and more, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games offers captivating attractions and amusement for thrill seekers of all ages.
In addition to the venue’s experiential design elements, our team helped bring the Andretti family’s racing legacy and iconic brand to life inside several new action-packed locations. DI was responsible for a variety of graphics, signage, custom lighting and statement pieces–all designed to engage, entertain and excite visitors.
This project presented a unique and exciting challenge from the start: incorporating lifesize Indy race cars throughout the venue. Not only are these race cars expensive, but they’re also substantial in size. To maintain budget and efficiency, DI did what we do best to make this vision a reality–we got creative. As a result, our team of talented craftspeople used our in-house 3D printer to carve a larger-than-life Indy race car model, which now hangs above the attraction’s bar.
From Start to Finish
Our team crafted, painted and assembled this massive Indy race car model in house before installing it inside Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.
DI also suspended a real Indy race car–provided by Andretti Indoor Karting & Games–above the entry to serve as a massive wow moment and photo op. Floor-to-ceiling portraits, tributes, wall graphics and monumental images are positioned throughout the 95,000 sq ft space, highlighting the eight Andretti family members who raced professionally. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the Andretti racing dynasty while engaging in some friendly, high-energy competition along the way. Our team was also responsible for the backlit dimensional signs, regulatory plaques and custom lighting elements throughout the venue.
With many more locations to open in the coming years, DI is helping ideate and scale these location-based experiences at volume. Understanding the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games brand and long-term vision allows our team to support the franchise’s growing footprint with custom fabrication and efficient brand activation.
