One of the most unique ways that we have incorporated digital interactives into the retail space occurred when we partnered with Helzberg Diamonds. The jewelry company was looking for ways to entice younger clientele to choose Helzberg for their jewelry needs. To do this, Dimensional Innovations looked for a seamless way to incorporate technology into the jewelry shopping experience.
Now, Helzberg offers a one-of-a-kind diamond shopping experience. Using augmented reality (AR) technology, guests can virtually “try on” more than 100 different ring styles. With AR technology, customers place their left hand on a custom-designed palm rest that contains motion-tracking sensors, allowing them to see how the ring would look from multiple angles.
Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Infusion Room wanted a way to allow children undergoing treatments like chemotherapy to have a way to distract themselves. Using digital interactives, we created a breathtaking outdoor landscape called the “Wilderverse.” In the Wilderverse, users explored a virtual world with their custom avatar. Users can access the Wilderverse from their smartphone or tablet, and the imagery is displayed on larger screens throughout the infusion center for all to see. For those who need more privacy during their treatments, each room also has a monitor for guests to view the Wilderverse on.
